Diversity & Inclusivity
Our #1 priority is to make every child that joins our group feel included, welcome, and special. We are passionate about holding space for neurodiversity and human differences.
Identity Affirming
This is a safe space for kids to be free to be themselves. We have rules protecting our LGBTQIA+ members and strongly enforce the use of requested pronouns by all members.
Virtual, Real Connections
Our virtual group feels as real as meeting in person. We support each other and join together often, building relationships and community between kids and parents alike.
Secular & Antiracist
All content in our classes are carefully chosen to be secular and encourage a broader view of the world through the lens of often silenced minorities and marginalized communities.
STEM-Focused
We love science, and so do the kids that make up our group. We love finding accurate information, exploring through experiments, and we often include packets of information to use at home to further explore the content.
All Ages Welcome
Many groups for homeschoolers focus on a single age range. Our group has events and classes for kiddos as young as 3 and teens as old as 18 so everyone has an opportunity to connect and grow.
Encouraging Natural Curiosity
Natural curiosity is one of the many superpowers most kids possess. We welcome random questions, rabbit holes, off-topic comments, and excited exclamations. We affirm curiosity and engagement rather than shut it down for easier class management.
Fostering Their Creativity
The creativity that our group members showcase to us every day astounds and delights us. We find ways to showcase their work whether through our blog, through our showcases, or through creative classes and clubs.
